Our Classroom Rules:

• Follow directions the first time given
• Raise Hand to Speak
• Treat others in a way that makes them feel good
• Take care of school property

Students will be expected to be active listeners and learners. If a disruption occurs that affects the learning environment I will handle it within the classroom. If behavior continues, a note will be placed in agenda.

All students will begin their day on "Ready to Learn." If by the end of the day, student remains on Ready to Learn or higher, he or she will have a reward (sticker, eraser, treasure box, compliment, praise, extra recess, lunch with teacher...) A consequence will be given if student is below Ready to Learn (loss of recess, time-out in the classroom, loss of certain privileges...) If your child's clip is below Ready to Learn by the end of the day, I will also send you a small note attached to the agenda. Please sign it and return it the next day.  Your child will be tracking his/her behavior daily by moving his/her clip up or down. If behaviors persist, student will be placed on office behavior plan.
